JON GORDON

Jon Gordon (Musical Arranger) is a NYC-based music and audio engineer and producer with more than two decades of experience. He became involved with major label bands as a charter member of Arista Records’ power-pop band “Tycoon.” Tycoon’s first record, produced by Mutt Lange, scored a top twenty hit with "Such a Woman" featuring Jon on slide guitar. He subsequently worked with both Madonna and Suzanne Vega as guitarist, musical director and arranger. Jon is featured as a soloist on three of Miss Vega’s U.S. singles, including the Billboard #3 hit, triple-Grammy nominee “Luka” on which he shares arranging credit. He has also toured with Mary Travers and singer/comedienne Christine Lavin. Jon’s own compositions in the jingle and library music field are heard world-wide, and have appeared as background music on such TV shows as American Idol, Oprah, Good Morning America, and Entertainment Tonight, among others.
